The Journey

SAP Commerce Consultant (Spring & Angular)

As a SAP Commerce consultant and service provider, I support companies in building internal expertise around SAP Commerce (based on the Spring Framework) and Composable Storefront (based on Angular). My responsibilities include introducing employees to the platform in a structured way, conveying technical concepts, and guiding them through pair‑programming and targeted assistance with complex challenges in their daily work. A key focus lies in evaluating new features, analyzing future technical requirements, and testing and documenting relevant architectural and implementation decisions.

(Lead) Fullstack Developer

encoway GmbH

Mar. 2022 - Sep.2025

As a Fullstack Developer and later on Lead Developer, I was responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of the Easy Product Finder, a central U.S. E-commerce platform built on a complex legacy tech stack. I ensured stable integration of new features, and worked within a Scrum‑based workflow supported by continuous integration pipelines with Jenkins.

In a major migration initiative, I led the transition from a legacy accelerator shop to a modern composable Angular‑based storefront, independently analyzing the underlying open‑source code to compensate for missing documentation. This work reduced external dependencies, lowered monthly operational costs, and brought essential technical expertise back into the company. Building on this foundation, I oversaw the technical implementation and optimization of the Lenze Shop America and Lenze Shop Selection, coordinating the development team and providing targeted technical guidance.
